
At Cool Story, the CEO gave me free reign to upload basically whatever I wanted to the agency’s YouTube channel. This was an idea I had been sitting on for ages, but never had a reason to actualize. When I suggested it to my boss in our first meeting, he burst out laughing and said I was crazy, but gave me the green light.
This was my first and also most successful long-form video with Cool Story. It has received the most views of any on the company’s channel and was a great lesson in retention editing. It also gained quite a lot of notoreity among the UChicago community, even landing me an interview with the University Newspaper about my thoughts on frat culture.
I went on to create two more long-form videos for Cool Story, and although I am proud of their storytelling, they did not reach nearly the same audience that this one did. They are linked below:
